Not looking good for finding the factory one, so looking at gettting an aftermarket adapter and oil thermostat etc. Anyone had any good/bad/average/fatal experiences with these?

I have a full flex-a-lite oil cooler system on my RX for a few years now.

Love it to death, keeps the engine cooler (turbo cooler too I'm sure) made a huge difference in engine temps when doing long turbo charging runs up the mountains out here. I orignally put it on because a guy I knew who owned a CarQuest auto parts store in the mountains used nothing but turbo wagons for delivery cars and swore up and down that the oil coolers were the only way he could keep them from cracking heads all the time. I tend to drive my RX pretty hard and have never had a problem with it, no leaks (unless you put on too small of a filter).
