for future reference, as i plan to swap a turbo'd ej motor of some sort into the brat, and the fact that a local yard has an ea81t wagon that they are about to crush

 

will the up-pipe for a turbo ej fit with the ea81t engine x-member?

 

if it will i'll probably go yank this one before its gone for good

i beleave it will. i know that a turbo EJ fits in the EA82T crossmember. and the Ea81 uses the same header/uppipe. so it "should" fit... its a little tight, but if you buy a catless flex uppipe it gives you a bit more room.
