Lugs for Pugs

Featured Replies

Newbie wheel question. I am looking at some 14" Peugeot 505 wheels for my 80 Brat. Do I need special lugs? If so, where would I secure a set?

Thanks

If they're the alloys, yes. Look for them here in the classifieds. If they're steel no special nuts are needed.

Thanks for the advice; they are alloys so I guess I'll need the special lugs.

Just get the ball seat adaptor offered online (cheap) and use your original lugs. It works fine.

I always wondered what was special about the alloy lugs? bigger seats?

I think the lug holes on alloys are bigger and reverse cone shaped, so a flat nut would damage the edges. I think.

Your wagon is alloy'd right?

yeah I got the lugs with them, the seat is also seporate from the nut, it rotates (or doesn't rotate as you turn the nut)
