March 23, 200719 yr My gear shifter does not like to go back into park....you really have you push it into park. Shift Linkage!? Also can anyone post a picture of a IAC....I have the 24 code and I've been told that sometimes it's a false code....and I cleaned the ************ out of the air control valve. Code still comes up. So now I'm onto the IAC and just need to know what it looks like. ROKE_ DJ Jazzy Jamie
March 24, 200719 yr the IAC is a small cylinder mounted horizontally on the front of the throttle body. All you have to do is remove it from the throttle body, remove the solenoid from the valve, and ensure they move easily.. this code is often generated not by a faulty valve, but by faulty wiring.. so don't be too surprised if you clean it, it seems fine, you replace it, and still have a code. Cleaning it is definitely step one though.
