Switch that locks the doors from drivers door

Featured Replies

I have a question on the switch that locks all 4 doors on my drivers door. Are these pretty much universal? Mine is shot, along with the plug end of the harness that goes in it. I want to post an ad in the parts wanted section, but i wasnt sure if all years would work. Mine is an 89 gl 4 dr sedan..any ideas?

I am about 90% certain that all the door lock switches are the same, and that the door lock switch on the driver's side is connected to an actuator that tells the other ones to lock.

Only 90% because its all from reading, not from doing. However, I havent *read* anything to contradict that, and I have been reading alot here in the last year.....
