My airbag light has got to where it comes on intermittently when starting the car. If it comes on, it will stay on, but sometimes it will not come on at all. It just depends on whether it comes on when first starting the car.

 

Has this happened to anybody else and if so what's the fix?

oh yeah, 1998 Forester L with appx 116k miles.

I'd recommend going to the dealer and have them see if there are any codes stored in the airbag computer.
