I have 4 pug 14" alloys and was wondering if I need special lug nuts for them or can I use the original ones from my white 13" wheels?

You need the pug lug nuts or something that fills the concaved area around the lug at the same taper as the pug nut, the subaru ones dont go deep enough and will make the wheel wobble on the hub.

If you come up with an extra set, please let me know. I'm having a b*tch of a time finding a set.

I can tell you from experience that it is not worth chanceing it with anything other than the correct lugs. Early this spring I changed over from my snows, and one of the Pugs came loose about 100 miles later. The wheel got mangled up under the car - and so did the front suspension:mad:

The common aftermarket types are hit and miss. If thet seat correctly, you won't have any probs. But if they don't, you will be driving a potential deathtrap.

good luck, John

Hi, go to ebay and look for tuner lugs. They are in our thread which is 12x1.250 MM. You want the Ball end ones. Summit has quite a selection and Motegi makes them for the cough, honda guys and their thousand dollar wheels. Work perf. Make sure you tighten them after a hundred and after 250 miles, Bradd

Hey Twowagons, I'm glad the pugs came alright with no problems in shipping, hope you like them.

Say I'll keep an eye out at the local p&p for pugs with any of those lug nuts with the washers for ya

Yup, thats them, same lady I got mine from and they are holding nicely 10 months later, a little spendy, but a lot less than a new front end, Bradd

hey, i guessed right :D

I like the looks of those a LOT more than the stock pug lugs. And I think that lugs should be ONE piece, not two. I've seen a few of those 2 piece lugs broken off around a wheel-less peugeot at the parts yard..
