What would be the ideal hybrid 2.5/2.2 build??

Featured Replies

I know this has been touched on before, and before you know it there are a bunch of people listing what they say works but no reason behind it. My resources are pretty much unlimited for this build (as far as stock used parts) I have been hearing alot of EJ25 shortblock with 95 EJ22 heads. The car it will be going into is a 92 Lego. I have a phase 1 shortblock sitting in my basement right now so if I could do that one it would be best for me. I am sure I can get a hold of a phase 2 but I would have to purchase that from my work. Anyone have any idea what type of power and cr I would be making on the phase 1 block with 95 EJ22 heads. Between nasioc, iclub and here there are a bunch of ideas in my head but would like to hear what actually works best.

Let me ask you this.....what power levels do you want to make.

If you plan to stay n/a, don't expect anything more (probably less) then 200 chp at the VERY MOST from a superb/excellent setup.

I would be happy to make that much on that setup. The motor in the car is just tired and leaky at 285,xxx miles. I am just looking to build something to help it with the bigger tires and the little bit more metal on it when I fab my bumpers and lift.
