Hey there...

 

I am new to Subarus and figured this board was a good place to start. I've been reading up here and a few other places but was looking for some help.

 

I'm looking to buy a Brat or possibly a Hatchback with an EA81 engine. If I can find it ... a GL or at least a nice body to work with would be killer. I plan on having this thing for a while and doing some work to it.

 

I am also new to Seattle so I am looking for suggestions or pointers on where to look for such beasts. I'm certainly not in any of the subaru circles. I've been looking on craigslist and ebay, but haven't seen too many for sale around here.

 

Any help would be great... maybe you or your buddy have one sitting around that needs a good home, ha.

There's a mid 80's (85-87?) Brat I saw for sale up here in Arlington the other day. Body needs work and some paint, but it had the cleanest, brand new wagon wheel rims I've ever seen :cool: with chrome hubs. I think he wanted $1950 obo.
