Popping sound from Drivers Side Rear Wheel area

Featured Replies

Driving around and taking a corner probably too fast, I heard a loud popping sound coming from my drivers side rear wheel area. Straightened out and it is fine, but now I can take a corner normal speed and hear it. I have heard talk about the "mustache" bar and was wondering if this could be the culprit? I have tried to move the tire with my hand and it feels tight, so it is not a bad wheel bearing (am I correct in my assumption?) Any suggestions would certainly be appreciated.
