Well, I didn't find anything at the Subaru Canada link, but I bought a brand new one today still in the Subaru box from 1979:banana: and as long as I was at it, I got a couple just in case I need another one. But, thank you for the tip anyway.

Where did you buy the heater value from?

From a Subaru dealer in New Jersey, he had two on the shelf still.

That was the response I got from Subaru. Then I started calling dealers and asking about the part number. I found a couple and bought them. I have learned from buying parts for my 1969 360 Pick Up, if you have the money and you are willing to dig.....and dig.............and dig some more, the parts are still out there. That's how I just got a NOS AC compressor for this BRAT for $20.00 (STILL IN THE BOX ALSO). Not to mention another set of NOS gen 1 BRAT decals.
