fuel pump

Featured Replies

My 88 subaru gl spfi isn't getting gas. I connected the fuel pump directly to the battery. Nothing happened, so I guess that means the pump is bad. a new pump costs $200.00 at the store. Is there a internet store to get one cheaper? Is there a way to fix one of these pumps?

search for "ford fuel pump," it may also be included in the USMB (Ultimate Subaru Repair Manual, top right corner of the screen)

There is a fuel pump from a ford F-150 pickup, and also I *think* a crown vic, (both early 90s) that works great as a swap in replacement... and is MUCH cheaper at the local parts store.
