My wagon is making a chirping noise. Its sounds like when driving it is coming from the front driver side it sounds like I'm killing a bird... I just did an axle and pads and rotors, I'm wondering if we didn't torque it enough... and its wereing on the bearing?? we torqued it to 130...

 

I know Use the search function, I tried and I couldn't find anything maybe I'm just blind.

Check all the bolts for tightness. Jack up the wheel, wiggle it around, look for play.

 

Maybe put some of that stuff that stops brake squeal? I can't for the life of me remember the name of that stuff

Is it possible you bend the backing plate a bit? If it barely touches the rotor while driving this could squeek.

We think We have narrowed it down to either the backing plate or the ball joint... but its weird cause it stoped making that squeak as soon as someone else got in the car last night.
