'93 Turbo Legacy, I asked before about the automatic's VSS, someone said that the rear one is accessible to replace, I looked under the car yesterday and couldn't see anything that looks remotely like it. Does someone know where it's located, tricks to replace it, and is it available from an auto parts place or will it be a dealer only item? Thanks to all in advance.

I believe the 4WD vehicle speed sensor is mounted to the back end of the transmission extension case on the right side near or under the cross member.

Yes, I found the sensor, held in place with one 6mm bolt. Couldn't see the wire connectors though, on top of the trans.
