I have done a search of previous threads but havent quite managed to find the answer:

 

My drivers window has stuck on my legacy wagon. When I push the switch I can hear the wiper motor winding, and the mechanism also makes a loud clicking noise. The window doesnt move though. The window is also out of position so that it is angled too far inwards.

 

I have taken the door panel off but was not able too see much of the mechanism so I cannot work out what is wrong.

 

I think that some mechanical part (rather than electrical) is either broken or out of position. Does anyone have an idea what or where this could be?

You are right that it's a ,mechanical part that is broken or off track. Sometimes the screw get loose, and things fall out of there grooves. Other times something is broken and needs replaced.

 

I suggest going to a Junkyard and taking apart a door there. Although it's hard sometimes if you can't roll the window up and down with no battery.
