So what would my total cost be?

 

well it would depend on how complicated the tank was going to be but a custom box is still going to take me a day to build with taped fittings and mounting brackets so still 100$ but if you just wanted a tank out of 1/4 Alu a spcific size and you did all the fittings your self then 50$ but it would only be a welded box , if you were going to go with an external pump i would just buy the one already built .
