Gear oil question

I need to change the oil in my 5 speed tranny in my 85 GL-10 2wd sedan. What kind of gear oil should I use and how much does the 2wd tranny hold? This is one of the last things I need to do and the 85 will be done so any help would be great. Thanks.

You can Use GL-4 or GL-5 (I prefer GL-5 and also mobile 1 synthetic) and the tranny holds 3.5 qts, at least thats what my owners manual says....
