I have a 90 legacy FWD and I really want to convert it to AWD or 4WD

 

with the AWD conversion how possible is it to use parts from another 90 or equivalent and what it all takes

 

now with the 4WD route I want to take the D/R from a GL and put that in what all would that take

 

which one will produce a better vehical?

Parts from any of the 90-94 legacies and even some newer subarus can be used.

 

The 4WD route would be more difficult as the engine/transmission mating points are different. If you search, you'll probably be able to find some more details on that.
