April 8, 200817 yr is there any after market fuel pumps that flow better then stock 1st gen legacys. i have found some walbro pumps for a 2.5rs. has anyone ever fit one of those into a legacy.
April 9, 200817 yr OK - this may sound dumb - but why would you need higher flow? at 20mpg at 20mph the flow is 1 gallon/hour. Even at 60 it's 3gph (in this example) 1 gallon every 20 minutes? Most of the pumps I've seen are 1 quart/minute which is about 20X what you need just asking...
April 9, 200817 yr Author a few reasons, one to sound cool two because the walbro fuel pumps are $99 regardless what you get three, the real reason, i'm trying to up my fuel pressure so I figured why not get the biggest i can. i also got the high pressure one too. Why, well because it was $99. i did end up finding out my answer. i ended up ordering a 255lph high pressure walbro pump for a wrx/sti. according to the guys over at legacy central it's a direct bolt in. we will see.
