Wheel spacers for 90 legacy wagon?

Featured Replies

So its almost summer time. I have my nice summer rims just waiting to get put on. But i was looking at my tires and it seems like they rub the coil just a little bit. They are pretty wide 15in rims. So Instead of getting more low pro tires that would be pricey i figured i could get some wheel spacers to cure the rubbing. I only need like a 1/4in -1/2in spacers. Anyone know where to get some online? These are the rims and tires.

What size tire do you have? How wide is the rim?

1/4"-1/2" spacer is HUGE. You'll rub on the fenderwell with that much change, plus it'll put more stress on the bearings.

I'd suggest a small spacer, 5-10mm. Or try and figure out if the rubbing occurs all the time, or just under hard cornering.

doesnt matter what size spacer you use, it will cause issues with your wheel bearings so just brace yourself if you go that route.

you think buying the right wheels or tires is pricey

wait until you're changing a wheel bearing every few months :-\

from your photo, looks like the wheel offset is all wrong and that in itself will cause problems down the road.
