June 30, 200817 yr Well I obliterated mine on my last wheeling outing. If I jack up the car the right front strut will just drop out with the rest of the suspension. (great for flexing, bad for front CV's) So where is my best bet of picking up a good one of these without spending an arm and a leg? (I'm thinking JY if I can find a good one, or dealer) Proly too much to ask if there's a heavy duty version.... I forsee alot of these being blown out in the future. 1983 EA81 4x4 wagon. Thanks.
July 1, 200817 yr Author So, no "You should only get these ones" ? If I blow up enough and have spare carcasses, maybe I can come up with some kind of all steel version with some kind of large ball joint type thing..... The dealer will have two for me thursday. $65 each.
July 1, 200817 yr Didn't see this soon enough. I have an 84 I'm parting out this month with the struts still on it.

(mine are adjustable and I want to keep it that way) You're close, and good spare parts are always needed as long as I got the cash. Might even be interested in other parts too.
