CornerHard Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 If I corner really hard in my 83 Subaru GL, the engine bucks and loses power, and I get a big blue oil smoke cloud behind me. After searching on here, it looks like EA82s have this issue when the PCV system is bad, but I haven't found anything about the EA81. hatchsub Posted July 16, 2008 Share Posted July 16, 2008 Its probably how you have your PCV system hooked up with the weber (im assuming you have a weber). Do you have the line from the drivers side head going straight to the PCV valve? If so this is probably your problem. I have both valve covers connected and then i T'd into them and down to the PCV valve and T'd off of that line up to the air cleaner. I have not had any oil getting sucked into the intake yet.
