Check engine light was on for a EGR error. I can get that one fixed. Battery cable fouled and lost juice - now the light flashes and I still get the EGR error but no others - is it just mad at me now??

Make sure you disconnected the green connectors under the hood. If you drive with them connected, it goes into a diagnostic mode, and I believe the blinking CEL means it came back clean.
