my 01 outback power doorlocks seem to have a mind of their own recently. Like unlocking as soon as i push the lock button on the remote, as well the inside door switches stopped working. Any ideas or solutions would save my marriage. I will try changing the battery in the remote first.

If I had to guess, one of the door switches is stuck in the "unlock" position. I'd start with that.

checked the locks and it looks like the hatchlock was the culprit. but would that explain the inside lock switches being disabled. I also discovered that the fuse for these is a 30 amp the label suggest it should be a 15. since the locks work again I dont want to change them up yet. thanks for the reply:banana:
