86 hatchback fwd into a 4wd

Featured Replies

what does it take to turn a fwd hatchback into a 4wd? I have a 5sp dual range from an ea82 and the rear diff what else would I need? or should I find a junkyard hatch and take all the 4wd drivetrain.

Driveshaft, clutch cable, flywheel and clutch kit, custom crossmember or the one holy grail one that I heard about maybe an xt6 FT4 or something like that would work, then a driveshaft, shifter setup, interior trim pieces, rear end parts like trailing arms and such, brake pieces and backing plates to make the axles go thru them, rear axles....the holes are apparently there though so it won't be impossible to drill out the rear end to hang the trailing arms and such. Its easier with a 4 spd dual range at least that was meant for the chassis.
