Guest subieman
Not sure if I'm using the right term by steering linkage, but I need some help on how to fix it. My 90 Legacy Sedan was involved in a hit and run while it was parked on the street. Looks to me that the whole rack needs to be replaced. If any of you have an idea on how I could fix it that would be wonderful. Guest scoobtech
From the pic , it looks like all you need is an inner & outer tie rod end. Both of these are replaceable parts . You will also need an align after these repairs . Just my observation from 1 pic though . 0]
Guest TinyClark
Isn't that the end of the drive axle coming down from the top of the pic?
Guest Legacy777
No that's the steering linkage. It looks like the swaybar drop link is busted too. I don't think you'll need a new steering rack, but like scoobtech said you'll need the tierod and anything associated with it
Guest subieman
Thanks guys. I'll stop in the junk yard today and see what I can find. I've never taken the rack apart before, so this should be a fun project. hehe
