I've got an '86 GL wagon with the headlights that predictably go dim due to deterioration of the interior coating. I've seen similar vintage Subarus with a four headlight sealed-beam system. Can I modify my '86 to be like that?

You talking about this setup. If you are you need the DL from 85-89 houseings, brackets, just about everything is different. Its even wired different.

i've noticed with the single glassw lens headlights, even the mounts that come with those can be different. i'm talking about the mount for the grille, the mount to the car should be the same with all single lens headlights but i am not sure if its the same as a 4 eyes setup
