I've been given the go-ahead by a local used dealer to have some roof rail crossbars from a 99 forester he's unloading. Only problem is, they are the type that tighten on with a knob with a keylock (seem to be subaru branded). The key is, of course, nowhere to be found. Anyone know how to get these off without damaging the vehicle or ruining the rails?

Are they actual Subaru rails? Probably your best bet would be to try contacting a lock smith to see if there's anything they can do.
