Subaru45895 Posted August 21, 2009 Share Posted August 21, 2009 This is a 90 Subaru legacy 2.2 engine. One of the valve guides is about .125" lower than the rest. Should I be concerned? It was not burning oil before I took the head off to replace head gasket. I noticed it while installing new valve seals. It doesn't look look like it has ever moved, no marks on guide.
