jadburnett Posted February 2, 2004 Share Posted February 2, 2004 Apparently my mums 1997 2.5 outback wagon started to make a lot of engine noise yesterday as she was running her errands. I don't have any more details than that, but it doesn't sound good. Could be a loose spark plug or much much worse. Dunno. She ended up leaving the car somewhere near Suffern, NY. I hope to take a look at the vehicle, but can someone please suggest an honest outfit (dealer or indy) that we can take the car to for diagnosis. Thanks in advance.
