I am getting my Grandmothers car running that has been in a garage for 17 years and mice have chewed several wires. I am having trouble locating the termination points for several of them. They come out of the harness beside the vacuum valve differential lock and I am sure 2 of them terminate there but I have 4 that I have no idea and have spent hours researching without any answers. The color codes on the remaining wires are GY,BW,BR,B. I am pretty sure the other R and B go to the valve. Thanks in advance. 20171130_105202_resized.jpg 94.34K 23 downloads

Mystery Wires Need help with 84 GL turbo 4wd
Posted 30 November 2017 - 02:16 PM
Those 4 go to the boost sensor mounted on the firewall.
This sensor runs the vacuum.boost gauge only.
Not needed for engine.
You will want that pressure switch hooked up,though.

Thank you. I have hooked up and repaired the others just those 4 were a mystery. They don't show up on any wiring diagram I have seen.
