just got back home with the legacy

Recommended Posts

Well I picked up my legacy today from the service dept. at Burt Subaru. I have to say I am damn pleased with everything. These new head gaskets look way more beefy then the old ones.

They replaced on recal the hazard switch and the front spring guards.

Then they also replaced the

upper radiator hose,

head gaskets

thermostat

timming belt

valve cover gaskets

intake manifold gaskets

re-cored the radiator

oil change

coolant flush

and a crap load of other parts

They replaced nearly 20 items (don't have the paper work in front of me right now)

basically all that was left to do would be new heads and piston rings for a new egine j/k

and all for $1,587.93

I don't think I could've got a better deal then that.

I think I'm just really pleased with the way these new head gaskets look.

My Roo came from Burt back in 1989 (90 legacy) and I bought it from the origianal owner earlier this year. 233K and still purring. It has retired to Sunny FL since and I do not think it will see anymore snow in it's lifetime but it loves to pass all the non-AWD cars on Highway 95 doing about 90mph. You should see their faces...:slobber:

Went and looked at the new 05 legacy at Palm Bay Subaru. I think I found my wifes new car.
