Anyone know where to find a starter solenoid besides getting a whole starter unit at Schucks? You're probably wondering why this lazy guy doesn't pick up a phone and call some places himself, right? Okay, you got me, but it's the weekend and the likely places near me are closed till monday. I tried looking on the net and was distracted by a racing application starter soleniod with a push button. Pretty cool, but my 83 has been stolen once already...

You probably just need to replace the starter contacts, very easy to do.

alright, it's fixed!
Thanks for that, hopefully 85 dollars worth of good Subaru karma find their way to you... I almost bought a whole new starter.
