JHH Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 Looking for better handling for my 77 coupe. Does anyone have any info on any aftermarket performance parts that would apply? I recently got rid of a 99 chevy that I put Eiibach adjustable coilovers that made it handle great and only lowered it 1.25". This is my goal. Also, is there anyone on this board that has swapped an ea-71 for an ej-22? I have the motor and the means but unfortunatly I haven't the time yet. Caboobaroo Posted July 27, 2005 Share Posted July 27, 2005 I put EA81 front suspension and brakes under my '79 wagon in the front. I dunno if it made it handle any better but I did lower it also but I never got to drive it. I had to make some custom control arms for it to work but it wasn't hard and it didn't take too long. Also, the parts are waaaay cheaper for the EA81 setup over the EA71. With the vented rotors as well, I bet it would have stopped a lot easier as well.
