Gyoas759
I currently have an 83 GL wagon with an EA82 engine in it. The exhaust I have on it has both cats and then a cherry bomb. It wont fly with PA inspections. I saw an EA82 gen GL wagon in the local Pick n Pull that has a good exhaust on it. I know the exhaust will mount up to the existing one, but I'm not sure on the body shape. I plan on lifting the 83 soon, so I want the exhaust to fit in tight with the body. Anyone know if the exhaust between an 83 and 87ish are the same? Trying to figure out if I can use it or if I need to make one custom. 86BRATMAN
I've not actually side by sided the two. but the cars are within a half inch of wheel base. It shouldn't be too big a deal.
MilesFox
the mid pipe will fit most part. the y pipe afterall is ea82. the muffler half may be different but if you get the whole pipe from yhe y flange back it will run correctly along the body. the rubber mounts may be in the wrong place you may have to get creative
