Sweet82
As everyone knows, I've been whinning about my Forester getting smashed by a #$%^ tree. I'm thinking on putting a spoiler over the section that got dented. What I need to know is if the spoiler actually covers the portion of the tail gate that got dented? Dent pic Will a spoiler cover this area? It will be fixed professionally either way but I may choose to have just that area fixed rather than tearing down and repainting the whole hatch then reassembleing it thus saving me enough money to put a cool spoiler over a less extensive repair. Glenn, 82 Hatch, well it used to be..... 01 Forester, bent but not broken! :bday:Happy 600 post to me!:bday:

Sweet82
Great pic, Thats exactly what I was looking for. It ain't gonna completly cover the dent area. But I think I'll put one on anyway. Thanks, Glenn 82 Hatch, well it used to be........ 01 Forester, bent but not broken!
WagonsOnly
That's not as bad as it looked when you posted the pics with the tree still on top of it... A JY hatch might be cheaper than fixing it. Especially if you can find someplace that'll take yours as a trade.
cookie
and push it out and bondo. Then just get the gate painted.
nickb21
cookie has a pretty good suggestion, guess it depends on how professional you want it to be. I'm sure the spoiler would do a good enough job of hiding the bondo..
