  1. my thoughts exactly, but it must be a really good low end torque with that small turbo and compression out the rump roast.

maybe some toluene couldnt hurt on the hot days, and I hope its intercooled?

Yeah...my 86 GL10T was great with the High comp motor Im hoping for similar results...the car should only see about 8psi.... There is no intercooler in this setup....But I think im gona have to come up with one for sure.....

  2. The downpipe will NOT bolt to the VF11. I tried this and was sorely disappointed.

Thats what I was looking for....Im doing a turbo 16v volkswagen 'rocco...and its using a turbo from an EA82....I was hoping to go bigger, but I dont want to redo the downpipe flange....

  3. Hello...seeing if anyone has a picture of an upgraded turbo for an EA82....From what i've been told, the downpipe will bolt to early turbo leg turbos....but I'd like to conferm that....as well as I'd kinda like to see the length diffrences, and if someone had a side by side pic that would be great. I cant seem to find any via search....The turbo isnt in a subaru...so length matters to me....:)

  4. yeah, i have a post there i posted here hoping someone has seen one in a yard so i can go and get it:cool:

Last time I was at action they had an xt6...but I didnt look at what trans it had...Kristina and I may go sunday...or just me...I can let you know what they have though.

They also had 2x ft wagons...but I doubt they had the diff lock....they did have LSDs though.

    Thanks

    Erik

  5. I don't think that this PCV problem is a result of the high compression though. Noss's (blownbimer's) wagon has basically the same setup, and it doesn't suffer from this problem.

Just FYI mike...my wagon did this too...not nearly as bad as your describing, but the pass side filter was always moist....How about being ghetto and running some sort of catch can to keep the oil from going everywhere as a temp fix?

    Good luck!

  6. My mechanic pulled and replaced an engine (a rebuild that had failed under warranty sent back and returned). While doing that, he told me later, he 'found the clutch pressure plate worn and replaced it' -- no charge.

Anyone else find this odd? never seen a mechanic give free parts...maybe not charging labor for parts when hes already in there....but never just free parts because they were worn...

I'd also say its something in the driveline.... have you tried pulling the park brake and "loading" the driveline? listen for thumps and such? maybe that will help you pinpoint where about its comming from.

    Good luck!

    Erik
