  1. This happened to me to and one day the hole shaft with pully flew off never to be seen again.Keep in mind i let mine go for atleast 9or10 months. I would sudjest replacing it.I don't know how much $ you have to work with but a new pump (pump only no res. or pully)i was Quoted $125 at the lowest point.Thats in WA.

Well i just got my first subaru ever and i love it.It's a gutless wonder but a very good one.I only paid $300 for it and all i've done to it is change the oil and just replaced a front cv axle,well it still worked but it buged me.I'm suprized how easy theases cars are to work on.oh ya it's a 91 loyal 1.8L FI with the magic 4wd button that never lets me down.The only thing i dont like about this wagon is that i can't find very many performance parts at all.I know it's not a power house but hopefully this site will help me do what i need.
