  1. It was a great car,but I like my new car better. Here are some pictures. http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322129 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322130 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322128 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322132 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322127 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322126 http://www.putfile.com/pic/8322131
  2. no,you sure can't,especially in the snow. My honda doesn't like to go anywhere in snow. I hope I can find another Legacy soon.
  3. My next ride? I want another Outback or a Legacy,I was very impressed with how gentle the whole accident was conscidering what happened and I loved that car. I have a 1990 chipped Honda Accord I am selling to hopefully make up some of the money I'll need to get another OBW. The Honda is quicker but feels far less safe and sturdy, and it ust never felt like it "fit" me.
  4. Long story short I was driving in to Ontario,I almost missed my exit turned in a little late, hit a patch of gravel, slid sideways,it jumped back to the other side,I almost had it back under control when I clipped a curb. The next thing I knew the car somersaulted and I was looking at the road out of my windsheild as the car spun and slid on it's roof. Luckily these are safe cars and the only scratch I had on me was aquired when I released the seatbelt and crawled out through the broken glass. The car was still runningbut would cost too much to ship home and fix so...it is no longer with me.
  5. I had that happen to me whenever my battery terminals somehow worked themselves loose, could be something that simple really.
  6. Ok,managed to finally get a obd reader on my car to check the codes I've been getting for a while, accompanying my misfire and hesitation problem. p0507 IAC circuit idle speed higher than expected. it is sitting at just over 1100 rpm's at idle. and this is probably my misfire p0170 Feul trim bank one. This is a '96 OBW with a 1995 2.2 in it. I'd like some advice as to maybe where I should go from here, especially on the second code. Any help is appreciated.
  7. OK,my poor Outback has been sitting without a motor for the better part of a year. Just haven't been able to find one in my busy schedule, until recently. The problem is,my Outback is of course,a manual, and the motor I've found is from an automatic. It's all the same year, but before I buy it I want to make sure that it can be converted, with parts I have already of course,to a manual from an automatic, preferably easily. Quick answers are appreciated as I have a large trip scheduled to somewhere there is a fair amount of snow, and I'm reasonably sure my modified Honda Accord is going to do VERY poorly in snow.
