Hi Guys Sorry for the lack of, but whats the TPS and where's the idle stop switch, the other problem re the 3 ecu's is that there are only 20 XT coupe's left in the UK, i have 2 but the other one is a 90 model and it has a different ecu. really appriciate all the time youl all have taken to respond. Hi All, Wondered if anybody can help, I've just bought an XT coupe 1986 with an engine fault, it starts reves up but only when driving it will only go up to 2500 rpm the turbo light flashe on and of. the ecs light is on on the dash and has a code 31 and 22 showing on the ecu, aparently the guy i bought it of said he bought it from a mate who took it to a garage to have it chiped and it didnt work right from then on, that was 9 year ago so its been stored in a garage since. hope somebody can help. warm regards mark:)
