  2. I was just reading up on MegaSquirt, and its documentation states is requires a resistance based TPS (which makes sense) but my justy im putting it on has a 3-position "switch" style. Any idea on what I could do to convert? Possibly another stlye soob TPS I could alter?
  3. you guys rock. It's not as bad as it seems. My pump isnt a sealed unit, its more of a pumping mechanism. lol. The housing ($360), isnt the part i need. Its the rotors and seals..... Looks like its all set now. Still possibly interested in a motor though, no salvage place even near me has a motor (of any type)
  4. Napa,Autozone,Advanced and my Dealer! Noone can get an oil pump for my '90 Justy. I'm trying to get my parts to rebuild the motor, and turbo it, but its an uphill fight for sure. Does anyone out there know where to get one for a 90 ECVT EFI 4x4 Justy? How about anyone got a Motor? Can't find one JDM right now either. Will travel if close to virginia, else ship possibly. I know Justys are the stepchildren of the board, but I'd really appreciate it.
  5. I too, am going to turbo my Justy. I plan on using a small turbo off of a 1.6L Mercury Capri, and the matching intercooler. I've researched Megasquirt systems, and like the idea, but I cant help feeling overwhelmed. I've been turning wrenches for a long time on the "repair" side of things, but till recent have never really dabbled in the would of performance upgrades. I have a EFI 1.2L (that will be rebuilt prior) and was wondering who out here uses megasquirt, and could advise me on what parts I would need with the unit. Some examples are, but not limited to, The "Regular" Harness I see everywhere Oxygen sensor (Narrow Band vs. Wideband) MAP Sensor (I heard it comes with its own, but what about the one I got) Fuel Injectors... Can I use the stock ones, or swap to XT6 injectors? Coil Pack The last inssue I have is that I'm going to fire the works up around an ECVT (I know, I Know) B/C the system is technically "piggy-back" it shouldnt interfere with the ECVT operations. And Don't be alarmed, I have a ready to go Manual swap just waiting for the ECVT to die. But I really want to see an ECVT turbo. lol Any Help would greatly be appreciated, and anyone who would like to support me and my friends through this project would be immortalized in Justy Folk Lore forever........well, its a start... -Trent
