  1. Hello, The problem was a left rear baring was bad. It took them about 40 minutes to replace it and do a 7,500 miles serivce. Apparently, the dealer said some of the 05 and 06 Outbacks were having baring problems. Problem solved, case closed, noise is history.
  2. Hey thanks. I will take in in to the dealer and then post back what they said.
  3. Thank you for your post. There is no vibrating. I looked under and can see no tear in the boots. Maybe a baring like you have said. The car is too new to need a barring at 7500 miles
  4. The Subaru Factory mats I got has a good lips. Is this what you want? http://www.subarupartsforyou.com/cp_partdetail.php?partid=964 Hard to see but it does have a lip.
  5. I have a 2005 Outback Sedan with 7500 miles on it. After I went through a car wash I started to notice a humming noise from the back wheel area. The hum starts at about 30 and will stop if I reach 70. Its driving me nuts. Could this be a problem with the tires being worn or did the car wash husrt something?
