  1. I have an old 82 brat I am trying to get running. Have changed out the rusty gas tank. Also took a fuel pump from an 84. Hooked the pump straight to fuse box and ground. Can hear the fuel pump running, but no gas is getting to the carb. A I going to have to replace all the fuel lines. Please tell me NO!
  2. here is the link to the front. Is this what I should get? http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B007WMGX0A/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_3_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1361374935&sr=8-3-fkmr0&keywords=subaru+brat+kyb+gr2&condition=new
  3. here's the ones I found on amazon. Are these the right ones? http://www.amazon.com/KYB-GR-2-343056-Shock-Absorber/dp/B0071B5LI2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1361374935&sr=8-1&keywords=subaru+brat+kyb+gr2
  4. What kind of shocks and struts do you guys recommend for an 86 brat?
  5. I think I have a brand new nos cruise control. Can't remember if it goes to a turbo or not. Will have to look
  6. I finally made it down yesterday to look at the automatic brat. Needed rotors, brakes all the way around, valves were clicking, real rough idle, knock in the front end when turning, had to floor it at take off to get it to go, needed alignment, basically a lot of money needed to get it right. The guy wouldn't take less than $3k. I guess he thought I was a stupid woman and he could con me. Either that or he is so impressed with himself that he owns a brat, he doesn't realize it sucks. Oh we'll it really turned me off from wanting an automatic. It had a weber carb and dual exhaust but ran like crap. Are the turbo auto brats any better?
  7. I don't even own it. Just herald about it. But thanks for the info
  8. Did the 83 brat come in automatic non-turbo? I just stumbled upon one. I haven't seen it yet. I though the only auto brat there was was the turbo. Is there an automatic that isn't a turbo?
  9. if you still want to part it out, I am interested in the following parts radio bezel rear bumper (even if the bumper is no good need the end caps) tailgate tail light lenses jumpseat seat belts chrome trim on tailgate thanks, let me know
  10. I have an 82 brat that has been sitting for a few years. I am sure the tank has rust in it. The seems to run well, but I don't want rust getting into the carb. So I need suggestions as to what I can do to the tank, filters, or whatever WITHOUT having to take the tank off and have it cleaned. Any advice will be great. Thanks
  11. Yep those r the ones I like. Thanks! I found a REAL nice set yesterday on eBay but they are the metric ones. I read somewhere on here that those wont work. I will keep looking. In no big hurry.
