  1. I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation about what kind of alignment to get for a Loyale 4 WD wagon? LesSchwab always tries to sell a "4 wheel thrust" alignment instead of the standard alignment. I thought there was no adjustments in the rear wheels and making a 4 wheel alignment impossible. Is this correct, and does this 4 wheel thrust alighment make sense for a Loyale wagon? Thanks everyone. DHDH
  2. Got it - used a small flat wonder bar type pry bar to get it started and then sliced the black tar adhesive with a blade to get it off. Thanks again.
  3. Thanks a lot I appreciate it, I'll try it again!
  4. Hi there, I'm trying to replace the rear taillight lens on the driver side of my 92 Loyale and I cannot figure out how to remove the lens. I removed the two 8 mm nuts on the bolts that extend into the compartment you access to change the bulbs, but the lens doesn't budge. Can anyone tell me how to do this please? Thanks in advance!
  5. These are pretty bad. I've gone through a couple of sets of replacements and this is about the worst they have gotten. They click sometimes driving straight, and I get this violent steering wheel shaking. I don't 4 wheel it, though live on a dirt road. The wagon has 353 K on it though. I have packed grease into the torn boots before, but not on these. May be worth a try again. Maybe I won't pull the axle shafts, but I like Durania 717's idea of roasting them back tires! Anyway 353 k -and still a good ride!
  6. I have an '89 DL 4x4 with bad front CV joints on both sides. I'm thinking about removing the whole half axle shafts from both sides and trying to drive it with the 4 wheel drive engaged...use it as a rear wheel drive until I can replace the axle shafts. Has anyone done this, or does anyone know if it is possible to run it this way? Thanks all.
