    Thanks for your input. Didn't know about the antenna vs. sensor thing and I have changed the batteries and that didn't help anything. On the other hand two days ago it just started working again. Go figure. Any other ideas/suggestions are welcome. It's working now, but who knows when it'll poop out again. Thanks again!

    Hey I'm a new user here and I'm having some issues with my keyless entry, basically it works when it feels like it and before I buy a new remote I wanted to make sure the sensor wasn't being blocked by dust or anything - I read somwhere that this could happen - but I can't find the darn thing anyone know where it would be in a 2001 Forester? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. TIA! Faith
