  1. I am the proud owner of an 06' Baja Sport that I purchased last October and I love it! I don't even worry about these Buffalo, NY winters 'cause it handles them like a champ. I really was'nt interested in a turbo model because of the premium gas it takes and the little extra maintenence as well. I have the silver, which does'nt show the dirt like the darker colors do. My advice is to buy the Sport(non-turbo) if your not going to do any quick take offs at the red light, you won't be sorry.....Subaru is #1 in my book!
  2. My 06 Baja had a standard air intake from the factory, not a cold air intake. It did not take in air from the wheel well. The factory intake was very restrictive. The AEM brand cold air intake is fantastic and you can learn more on their website.
  3. On my 06' Baja I installed an AEM cold air intake, but the filter is inside the wheel well inclosure(so it sucks in colder air than inside the engine compartment) and I love it! It uses AEM's dry flow filter so you don't have to worry about fowling up the Mass. sensor with oil. The Impreza CAI intake works on the Baja as well. Hope this helps .
  4. I don't know about the wrx, but on my 06' Baja I installed an AEM cold air intake (with the dry flow filter) and its fantastic!
  5. Just to put my 2 cents in- I have an 06 Baja Sport (non Turbo) and I love it! It handles the Buffalo snow with ease and the daily commute to work (70 mi. round trip) is a joy. I'm not going to win any races at the red light, but then I average around 27 mpg on regular gas-24 mpg around town. The trunk is big enough for bringing home a TV or stereo and groceries(on a nice day!)
  6. Yes you are! Ha, Ha... What can I say..I got an excellent trade-in price for my SVT. From what other Subaru owners have told me , this will be my one and only brand of car I will ever own. So far, they are right!
  7. Hi, I'm new too! I just picked up an 06' Baja- my first Subaru after a long list of Fords,Chevys,Dodges and Saturns.
  8. Hi! I'm one of the new guys on the block. I traded my 04' SVT Focus for an 06' Baja- my first Subaru! I hope it treats me as well as I have heard from other owners.
