  1. I think we'll hang on to it for a little bit.
  2. thanks...the car is a blast and is rich with history!
  3. There is a thread in the vintage portion of this site...not sure if it is ok to post this here as well?? Not very often a Subaru gets some love from Hemmings Motor News. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2012/11/01/wrxs-grandpa-meet-superoo-americas-first-factory-backed-subaru-race-car/?refer=news
  4. The Superoo got some love from Hemmings... http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2012/11/01/wrxs-grandpa-meet-superoo-americas-first-factory-backed-subaru-race-car/?refer=news
  5. Photo from the 2012 AACA National Fall Meet in Hershey this past weekend.
  6. wow...good luck with that! Gotta stay in touch...
  7. Hey Subaru360! I had tried to get a hold of you sometime ago...I JUST saw your 360 on Craig's list! Are you moving far? The car does handle quite nice...and is quite peppy!
  8. HI Folks....it has been a while since I visited. I lost contact with Subaru360 (Tom), not sure if he still visits here or not. I still have the Superoo. It ran the 2009 Fall Weatherly hill climb. It has some fuel pump issues but did lay down an official time. I was busy with a move to a new house and things got a little sidetracked. The car was recently certified by the AACA (antique automobile club of America) and will be shown at the 2012 National Fall meet in Hershey in October.
  9. well...I posted one pix on the photo pages...took forever! I think the one that got on was a shot of the blower...I'm going to burn the other shots to disc and take them to work...I have Skip's email...if anyone wants some shots email me at Rmann@hersheys.com
  10. I'll go out again today and see what more I can find on the engine. Like I said before, I know nothing of Subaru...to me there looks like there was some mods done mounting the motor. Who can host the pixs?
  11. Well here is the latest from the garage. Looks like the motor block number is 736434...mean anything to anyone? the blower also has an upsidedown triangle with an H in it....again means nothing to me...any clues? the hood is steel I'll have to take a better look on how they did the flares...I took quite a few pixs...I'll see if I can download them. to the person that is an hour away...sure, send me an email at Rmann@hersheys.com and we can set it up. The car is headed back up north next Saturday.
  12. Ok...I got out to the car today and got a good look....the tranny is indeed a VW type 1 tranny (113301103) an IRS flipped backwards...which means the pattern I was told is most likely incorrect. The serial number on the body of the car is A23L700787...which makes it a...??? has a Neal hydraulic cluth set up... strange beast...they made mods to the tranny to fit, that is for sure! Ron
