ok i have a 82 brat that im not sure if it is a gen 1 or gen 2 what is the change over year i found a gen 1 camper shell and i need to know will it fit befor i ask the guy to hold it

i have an 87 brat that once i turn the ignition off it sputters and cutts up for about 15 seconds afterwards since im a rookie i have no idea how to fix this im sure its just some minor adj needed but i have no idea what to do or where to start

is there any other make or models out there that the dash will fit up in my 87 brat

i have a 87 brat i need to get a little higher off the ground i dont want to go crazy with it i just need a little room so the muffler doesnt drag when i go hunting in it how would i do thisss im no mechanic so technical terms mean nothing to me lol how hard will this be for a rookie and is it expensive also what parts will i need and where can i find them
