I have converted my ea82 from fuel injection to a Weber 44 IDF carb. I need a distributor that will fit this motor and has points and condensors. Will the old 70's 1.6 dist.'s fit? Anybody know what will work? Thanks

I need a simple disty that works...I can't get the one I have from an EA81 to send any juice... I replaced the ignition module...The coil is fine...Just wont fire... I have a 44idf Weber carb on a highrise intake...

Hello...What year, model, engine, tranny, etc. Escort did you get the disty from??? I need a points/condenser disty for my ea82, on which I have installed a big Weber carb. and eliminated all comp.'s. Thanks

I have installed a weber 44 idf on my ea82, eliminated all smog crap, and computer Bought a distributor from a carb'd ea81. I can't get any spark thru the distributor...replaced the ignition module... still no spark...ignition module only has two wires...not sure what the deal is... dh84 distributor...DO I NEED THE COMPUTER FOR THIS DIST. TO WORK? DOES ANYONE HAVE A POINTS/CONDENSOR DISTRIBUTOR THAT WORKS? Thanks

I have a vacume adv. disty with two wires coming out...yellow and black/white... Which, if only one, do I hook power up to? I have converted the fuel injected to carb...I can't find my hanes book...we just moved... Thanks, Brent

Thanks...I would keep the F.I., but I fried the computer and don't have the $$$ to buy the aftermarket comp. I want... I have an awesome weber off my VW motor to use... Thanks again:)
