    it turned out to be a broken wire going to the transister.i soldered the wires and put on a connector.thanks alot grossgary.you narrowed it down for me quickly.loyale is back on the road delivering newspapers.

    my 1990 loyale ea82 wagon started up than i always kick it down so it idols about 1000rpm than it died. i removed a spark plug and i am not getting no spark.i removed the distributor cap and it turns so i dont think it is my timing belts.i think it is the coil or maybe that little module.if anybody could help me i would greatly appreciate it
